New SLFP Ministers take oaths

A group of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Parliamentarians took their oaths as ministers last evening. Eleven SLFP Parliamentarians took oaths as Cabinet ministers, five as state ministers and 10 as deputy ministers to form the proposed national unity alliance government,  pledged in President  Maithripala Sirisena's manifesto in keeping with its  100-day programme to solve urgent issues. The manifesto states Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be the head of the National Government.
