Nine hospitalised after acid attack in Kamburupitiya
Nine persons have been hospitalised following an acid attack during a brawl between two groups in Kamburupitiya yesterday (Apr 14).
The victims of the attack are currently receiving treatment at the Akuressa District Hospital and the Kamburupitiya Base Hospital.
Meanwhile, area residents and police had taken steps to douse a fire which had erupted after the victims' house and van were set ablaze during the brawl.
Kamburupitiya Police are investigating further into the incident.
