Additional school sessions will not be held to cover up missed lessons for students as schools remained shut for two weeks in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks before reopening this week, the Education Ministry announced today (May 10).
Issuing a press release, the Ministry noted that school authorities have been informed to revise the academic curriculum in a way that it covers the relevant parts of the syllabus.
The head of all schools have been advised by the Education Secretary to implement the learning - teaching and evaluation process for the second term as usual.
Further, the Education Ministry emphasised that lessons would continue to be taught as ususal despite a drop in the attendance of students.
