A Public Day was organised in the North to provide an opportunity for area residents to discuss their issues with state officials including the Governor today (Jun 19).
Accordingly, area residents visited the Vavuniya District Secretariat and discussed their issues with Governor Suren Raghavan, the secretaries of the ministries under the Provincial Council, and the heads of state institutions in the North.
The Public Day is held on the Wednesday of every week.
