The number of Sri Lanka Navy personnel who have recovered from COVID-19 climbed to 820 today (26) as nine more navy personnel were discharged from hospital.
The navy personnel were discharged from the Kattankudy (3), Iranavila 5) and Theldeniya (1) hospitals.
All discharged navy personnel have been instructed to self-quarantine at home for another 14 days.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
