O/L candidates advised to contact DMC in the event of disaster
G C E Ordinary Level examination candidates have been requested to contact the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) in the event of a calamity owing to the inclement weather.
This is in keeping with a special service jointly launched by the DMC and the Examinations Department to minimize the obstructions faced by candidates to appear for the exam.
The 2019 O/L examination begins today (Dec 2) and will continue till December 12. Exams are held in more than 4900 centres.
Students who are facing difficulties in going to their exam centres due to the bad weather have been advised to contact the following telephone numbers:
