An individual was arrested for transporting Civil Security Force fatigues in Wattala yesterday (Dec 3), Sri Lanka Navy said.
The suspect, aged 23, had been arrested after his lorry had been searched at a roadblock, while travelling towards Colombo from Negombo.
The Navy said the suspect had failed to provide information on the goods that he had been transporting at the time of the arrest.
He had also failed to produce a valid Driver's Licence or a National Identity Card to confirm his identity.
Further investigations are underway.
