One arrested for transporting narcotics in Wellawatte
An individual has been arrested for the transportation of narcotics identified as Ice and Hashish in Rudra Mawatha, Wellawatte.
Officers attached to the Organised Crimes Preventive Division had arrested the supect on a motorcycle.
Police have identified the suspect as a 35-year old resident of Modara.
More than two kilos of Ice and 1.6 kilos of Hashish had been seized from the suspect.
Further investigations are underway.
