One arrested over killing in Mount Lavinia
An individual wanted in connection with the killing of a person in Mount Lavinia has been arrested yesterday (Sept 23).
Police said that the suspect is believed to have carried out the killing of a person in Sylvester Road, Mount Lavinia earlier this month.
The suspect has been identified as 31-year old Chathura Priyadarshana, a resident of Moratuwa.
The Police Organised Crimes Preventive Division is carrying out further investigations into the suspect.
