One killed as tree falls on to bike
One person was killed and another was critically injured when a tree collapsed on a motor cycle they were travelling in the Mullaitivu area today afternoon, Police said.
The area was receiving heavy rains and strong winds at the time of the incident.
The injured person was admitted to the Mullaitivu hospital
The decesed was identified as James Vijendran, 33 from the Kokkuthuduwai area.
