One missing after being swept away in Bogawantalawa
A man has been reported missing after being swept by strong water currents in Bogawantalawa yesterday (Sept 30).
Velu Manoharan, 54, had been washed away while crossing the Kilani Road which had been flooded due to the overflowing of the Keselgamu Oya.
A search operation is underway to locate the missing individual, police said.
