One missing after boat overturns in Valaichchenai

One person is missing after a boat carrying three individuals overturned Meeyanmadu Tank in Valaichchenai yesterday (17). 

Police said the individuals had been engaged in fishing when their boat overturned. 

The missing person has been identified as a 56-year-old resident of Kudumbimale, Meeyanmadu. Search operations to locate him are ongoing, police said.
