An individual has been arrested with 1.7 kilograms of gold biscuits at the Bandaranaike International Airport upon arrival from Dubai yesterday (Oct 13).
The suspect, a 33-year old resident of Negombo had concealed 17 gold biscuits in a trolley used to transport his luggages.
He was arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau and has been handed over to Customs officials at the airport for further investigations.
