One nabbed with narcotics in Wattala

An individual has been arrested while transporting narcotics in a three-wheeler in Wattala yesterday (Aug 28), police said.

Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) officers had seized 1.1 kilos of Methamphetamine (Ice) and 413 grams of Hashish at the time of the arrest.

In addition, Rs 124,890 in cash had also been recovered the suspect who has been identified as 38-year old Selvakumar Selvador.

Police said that he would be produced before the Wattala Magistrate's court today.

The PNB is carrying out further investigations into the suspect.
