The government has decided to increase the purchasing price of a kilogram of paddy by Rs 5.
Accordingly, the existing price for purchasing paddy which stands at Rs 41 will be increased upto Rs 46. Agriculture Minister P. Harrison said addressing the media today (Aug 11)
Meanwhile, the purchasing price of a kilo of Nadu rice has been increased from Rs 38 to Rs 43.
