Parliamentary sessions have been adjourned until 10:30 am on Friday.
Making a special statement in Parliament today (Dec 19), Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Leader R. Sampanthan said that the post of the Leader of the Opposition is currently being held by two persons as the Speaker had not removed him from his position.
The session was chaired by Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri today.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
