Parliament Oversight Committee to submit report on Batticaloa campus next week
The report on the controversial Batticaloa Campus will be submitted by the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Education and Human Resources Development to Parliament next week.
Former Eastern Governor M.L.A.M. Hizbullah - the founder, his son and the registrar of the campus were summoned before the Committee yesterday to record statements.
Several matters including the method of funding for the campus have been included in the report, Oversight Committee Chairman Professor Ashu Marasinghe said.
