Parliament proceedings will be telecast live for two hours over the national television station Rupavahini starting today. The telecast will be from 1pm to 3 pm on all days that Parliament meets while on Friday it will be telecast from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. The decision to show the live telecast over Rupavahini was taken on Wednesday by the Consultative Committee of Parliamentary Affairs which was presided over by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
