During the course of today's parliamentary session Speaker Karu Jayasuriya announced that the next parliamentary sessions will take place on November 27 and 29 at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm respectively.
Earlier today, Parliament approved the parliamentary committee of selection with 121 votes in favour of the list submitted before Parliament by Speaker Jaysuriya. The voting took place as per the electronic method.
However, the UPFA MPs had staged a walkout before the vote took place.
