The Election Commission (EC) states that postal voting for the 2020 Parliamentary Election will take place on July 14, 15, 16 and 17.
Postal voting for state institutions - excluding District Secretariats, Election offices, police, security forces, Civil Security Department and health sector, will take place on July 14 and 15.
Postal voting for District Secretariats, Election offices, police, security forces, Civil Security Department and the health sector will be held on July 16 and 17.
Those unable to cast their postal vote on these dates can do so on July 20 and 21 at the district election offices in the district where their workplace is situated.
Polling cards for the 2020 Parliamentary Election will be handed over to the Postal Department on July 11, 12 and 13. Distribution of polling cards will conclude on July 29.
Any registered voter who has not received their polling card by July 29 can obtain their polling card by visiting their area post office and verifying their identity.
