A Sri Lankan national has died onboard a SriLankan Airlines flight bound for Colombo from Kuwait earlier today (Feb 05).
The deceased passenger has been identified as a 59-year old and is reported to have passed awayowing to a sudden heart-attack.
He was travelling on flight UL-230 which was expected to reach Sri Lankan soil at 6:30 am today.

Former President’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake was today remanded until February 11 by the Fort Magistrate in relation to the case where former President Ranil Wickremesinghe is alleged to have misused Rs. 16.6 million in state funds during a visit to the UK to attend his wife’s graduation ceremony at the University of Wolverhampton.
