President Maithripala Sirisena has said that the Provincial Council polls would be held before May 31.
It is reported that the President made this remark during today's cabinet meeting at the Presidential Secretariat.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
