Pedestrian killed after being hit by a bus
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a bus in Egoda Uyana yesterday (Oct 14).
Police said that a bus plying towards Colombo had collided with the pedestrian who had been crossing the New Galle Road.
The victim, who is yet to be identified, had died while receiving treatment at the Panadura Hospital.
Meanwhile, the bus driver involved in the accident has been arrested. Further investigations are underway.
