Petition against stoning of Lankan maid handed over at Saudi Embassy
A petition was handed over by the National Sangha Council to the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Sri Lanka today (Dec 02) urging him to discuss with the leaders of his state and give a lesser punishment to the Sri Lankan house maid who is to be stoned to death for adultery.
