A writ petition has been filed at the Appeal Court, seeking to instruct the implementation of laws with regard to visual pollution, in its occurrence of illegal display of election posters.
The petition has been filed by the Centre for Environmental Justice.
The organization claimed that the laws against visual pollution introduced by the Central Environmental Authority upon orders of the Appeal Court, have not been implemented yet.
Accordingly, the CEJ requested the court to order the CEA to implement the laws prepared in this regard.
