Piyasena Gamage sworn in as State Minister

Galle District United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Piyasena Gamage has taken oaths as the Minister of State Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development this morning. 

He was recently appointed to the seat left vacant by the departure of UPFA MP Geetha Kumarasinghe after the Supreme Court ruled that she was disqualified from holding her MP post as she held duel citizenship.
