PM lays foundation stone for tyre plant

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday laid the foundation stone for the new tyre factory of Rigid Tyre Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd. in Horana yesterday. 

The Rs.11.25 billion venture will see the construction of Sri Lanka’s largest fully integrated tyre manufacturing plant which is expected to provide about 3000 job opportunities.
