Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has agreed to appoint another committee to probe the Easter Sunday attacks, sources said.
Mr Wickremesinghe who is also the leader of the United National Party (UNP), had made these remarks when he met with senior party members today (Sept 6) at Temple Trees.
Mr. Wickremesinghe's decision comes in the wake of Colombo Archbishop His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith's repeated calls for an independent and transparent inquiry into the attacks.
