Police arrested 77 persons including 17 young girls who took party in a party organized across Facebook following allegations that drugs were
distributed among the participants at the event in Maharagama.
Police claimed that also no permission had been sought to use sound systems for the event held at Araliya public grounds in Maharagama.
Those arrested were from Colombo, Akurana, Wattala, Pannipitiya, Kaduwela, Batttaramulla, Meegoda, and Homagama.
They are due to be produced in courts.
