Police Constable Aruna Sri Nanda Silva was further remanded until January 18 over the shooting of a person during the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation brawl last year.
The order was issued by Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne when the case was taken up for hearing today (Jan 11).
Attorney Shavendra Rodrigo, representing the accused had made a request for bail.
In response, Magistrate Jayaratne had said that she will announce her decision regarding the request on January 18.
