Police have launched investigations after Christian statues were found vandalised in Jaffna yesterday (Jul 23).
The statues were located at a place of worship in the vicinity of the Jaffna Fort, area residents said.
Similar incidents had been reported in the recent past across the Jaffna, Mannar, and Vaddukoddai areas.
Jaffna police are investigating further.
