UPDATE: The State Intelligence Service has alerted security forces on a van, a lorry and a few motorcycles which are suspected to have entered Colombo bearing explosives.
Accordingly, all police stations and their respective OICs have been informed regarding this move, police said.
The number plates information of those vehicles have also been passed onto the Police by the Intelligence Service.

He went on to say that the Police are currently acting on every information that they receive and the potential threat on board the suspected vehicles was one such instance.
