Police have sought public assistance to locate a suspect believed to have defrauded Rs 2.7 million from an individual in the Yakkala area in July this year.
Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said the suspect had obtained the money by promising to import an unregistered vehicle from Japan.
Investigations have revealed that the suspect had fled his residence located by the Police.
Accordingly, the public has been requested to provide information on any whereabouts or details of the suspect, on the following contact numbers.
