Political parties to meet with polls body today

News

A special meeting will take place between representatives of political parties and the Elections Secretariat today (Oct 29).

Elections Commissioner General Saman Ratnayake said that matters concerning the upcoming presidential election are to be discussed at the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission's Complaint Management Unit has received around 2000 complaints on poll law violations and violence so far.
