The pinning of the poppy flower on the Hon. Speaker of Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena by the Chairman, Group Captain of the Sri Lanka Veterans Association K. W Kirinde took place today (22) at the parliamentary premises.
Secretary General of Parliament Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake, Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Veterans Association Lieutenant Colonel Ajith Siyambalapitiya and a number of officials were also present at the occasion.
