A cabinet reshuffle is on the cards this week, Minister Ajith Mannaperuma said yesterday (Jan 06) while addressing a press briefing at the UNP headquarters in Sirikotha.
He made this remark while responding to journalists who raised queries on whether there was any truth to the news reports predicting a reshuffle.
In addition, Mr. Mannaperuma told reporters that 20 SLFP MPs would pledge their support to the government while voting for the annual budget.
"The SLFP is currently split into two factions" he said while adding that the UNP's journey was successful inspite of its slow progress.
