Postal voting for LG polls fixed for Jan 25 & 26
The Elections Commission has decided to conduct the postal voting for the February 10 local government elections on January 25 and 26, Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya informed today.
Accordingly, postal ballot papers would be sent to the polling centers on the same day. Elections officials and Police personnel could cast their postal votes on 22nd January.
