Power failure has been reported across several areas due to a sudden fire which broke out at Kelanitissa a short while ago.
The Power and Energy Ministry has said that areas which receive electricity supply from the Kelanitissa power station will face intermittent power failures.
Colombo, Kelaniya, Biyagama, Sapugaskanda, Kosgama, Athurugiriya, Kiribathkumbura, and Embilpitiya are the areas which might face power failures, the Ministry said.
