President Maithripala Sirisena has extended the term of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) into the Issuance of Central Bank Treasury Bonds till December 31. The Commission's term has been extended through a gazette notification.
The Commission's term was to end on Friday (8), but its term has been extended by a further 23 days reportedly after its members asked for more time to complete their report.
