President Maithripala Sirisena has taken to Twitter to condoled with Indonesia and its people, following the massive loss of lives in the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi last Friday.
Mr Sirisena condole with the families of those affected said he was saddened to hear of the devastating tsunami adding that the country stands in solidarity with the people of Indonesia in its hour of grief.

The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has ordered the Election Commission to immediately proceed with the postponed Local Government Elections.
