President Maithripala Sirisena will address the Indian Ocean Rim Countries Association (IORA) Leaders Summit today.
The association, celebrating its 20th anniversary is a regional organization primarily focusing on enhancing economic ties between nations present in the Indian Ocean, accommodating 21 countries at its summit in 2017. Foreign Minister, Managala Samaraweera will too be attending the summit along with the President, where two agreements are to be signed between the governments of Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
