Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena will be in the Philippines for a five-day state visit to the Philippines next week.
Undersecretary Elmer Cato was quoted by the publication as saying President Sirisena will visit the country from January 15 to January 19 on the invitation of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Cato said the President Duterte would meet President Sirisena on January 16 to hold bilateral meetings “on areas of mutual interest, including political, economic, cultural and people-to-people engagement.”
