President summons special Cabinet meeting today

President Maithripala Sirisena has convened a special Cabinet meeting at 12.00pm today (13) at the Presidential Secretariat.

The message has been conveyed to all Ministers by the Presidential Secretariat to be present at the meeting. 

However, the Ministers have not been informed the reason for summoning the Cabinet meeting. 

The usual weekly Cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday (11).
