Priyantha Sirisena's cremation today
The cremation of Priyantha Sirisena 43, the brother of the President will take place at the Public Cemetery, Polonnaruwa today (March 30).
Sirisena also called ‘Weli Raja’ was lived at Laksha Uyana, Polonnaruwa was attacked with an axe on Thursday night
following an argument. He was rushed to Polonnaruwa Hospital and air lifted to Colombo in a critical condition.
He died at a private hospital on Saturday morning. Sirisena leaves his wife Geethanjali Samankumari and three children. Samankumari alleged that her husband was killed as result of a well planned plot.
