Probe launched after Buddha statues found destroyed in Serunuwara
Police have launched an investigation after several Buddha statues at a Buddhist Centre in Serunuwara town were allegedly destroyed by unidentified persons on Sunday night (9).
A tense situation prevailed in the area following the discovery of the statues and police were called in to diffuse the situation.
