Probe underway into 'fake' phone call between police officers : Police Spokesman
Investigations are being carried out into a recording of a telephone conversation between two police officers which has been circulating on social media, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Addressing a press briefing, Mr. Gunasekara said that there was no truth to such recordings which had been published on social media platforms.
He noted that such content had been published by certain unscrupulous elements in a bid to cause panic among the public.
