All heads of state and private institutions have been requested to update their employees' information, especially their permanent addresses, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said that during the Minuwangoda Covid outbreak, it had been extremely time consuming for intelligence officials to track down employees and their close contacts in the absence of proper, updated details.
The Police spokesman further added, employers should be prepared to provide correct and updated information of employees in an emergency situation.
