Rail unions have called off their indefinite strike which began at midnight following discussions with the Transport Ministry today (Jul 4).
Unions had launched a strike after the Transport Ministry had allegedly exerted pressure on the Railways General Manager for taking diciplinary action on an officer who had consumed liquor during work hours.
