Railway operators and drivers have decided to engage in a strike action from midnight today (Mar 27).
The strike is being carried out to protest against the mechanisms adopted by the Railways Department while taking disciplinary action against employees, Secretary of the Railway Operators Trade Union, P. M. P. Peiris said.
