The Railways Department will introduce the sale of budget packs containing provisions at concessionary rates, State Railways Minister C.B. Ratnayake said.
Accordingly, two types of budget packs - one containing dry rations, and the other vegetables, will be sold at railway stations from next Thursday.
Ratnayake noted that the initiative will begin at the Maradana Railway Station before being introduced across other stations in due course.
